Beverly Elaine Ladman, 64, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at Four Corners Health Care Center in Durango. Private services will be held.
Mrs. Ladman was born March 2, 1950 in Durango, the daughter of Floyd and Arlene Beaver. She was raised in Durango and attended high school in Bayfield, graduating as class valedictorian in 1968. After high school, she attended beautician school and also worked at her family's nursing home, Valley View, in Bayfield. She met her future husband, Mark Ladman, in 1971 and they were married in 1974. They moved to Denver for a short while and then came back to the Durango area in 1986. She worked for a few businesses in the area; Lewis True Value, UBC Builders, Kroegers and also Boker Lumber. Beverly was a gifted gardener, like to fish and go boating and enjoyed watching Westerns. She followed the Denver Broncos and NASCAR racing. But, of course, what she truly adored were her grandchildren and family.
