BHS students promote kindness

March 7 to March 11 is 'Dude be Nice' week at Bayfield High School. This week is dedicated to spreading kindness throughout the school and the community. Some of the projects so far have included holding signs in the roundabout telling commuters to have a nice day, passing out encouraging notes at the career fair on Monday, giving out hot chocolate in the mornings before school, writing thank you notes to school staff and setting up a water station to fill water bottles. Postive messages also have been chalked at BHS and downtown on Mill Street. The Friends of Rachel Club, which promotes positive behavior and kindness at the school, also is granting student wishes this week.
