Bayfield High School swept Pagosa Springs 3-0 in an Intermountain League volleyball match Tuesday night on the road.
BHS (11-3, 5-0 IML) collected 34 kills and a .407 attack percentage, 27 assists, 24 digs, seven service aces and six team blocks in its 25-11, 25-14, 25-16 victory over the Pirates.
“We’re working hard on maintaining a strong leadership presence in every rotation, and our seniors were effective all around (Tuesday night),” Wolverines’ head coach Terene Foutz said in an email to The Durango Herald late Tuesday night.
BHS next will play Piedra Vista at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Farmington in a nonconference match.
