Mai Funk, a senior at Durango Big Picture High School, will host a silent auction and benefit for her senior thesis project.
Money raised will go toward sponsoring a child’s heart surgery in Belarus or Ukraine. The event will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. All students and their families are invited.
