Ellie Martinez, a junior at Durango Big Picture High School, is organizing a Durango-wide high school talent show.
The purpose of the show is to provide a platform for students from all three public high schools to come together to showcase their talent.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to funding future student projects and easing the costs of concurrent enrollment. The deadline to sign up for the talent show is Nov. 11, and auditions for the talent show will be held in the Big Picture High School cafeteria from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 14.
Rehearsal will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Miller Middle School auditorium, and the live performance will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 9.
Tickets will be $10 for adults, and admission will be free for high school students presenting a valid student I.D.
