The Billy Goat Saloon in Gem Village and Patio Restaurant in Ignacio are hosting events this week for Snowdown.
The "Dashingly Chic" scavenger hunt starts Wednesday at noon, with the list of 100 items at the Billy Goat available from noon to 8 p.m.
Teams of four then start to beg, borrow and steal everything on the list. Judging starts at 10 a.m. Friday. Cost is $20 per team.

Also at the Goat, the "American Stiletto Warrior" contest will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Women (and men) have to negotiate an obstacle course and carry a tray while wearing at least four-inch heels. Participants have to bring their own heels.
Entries are due at 6:30 p.m. that evening. Both events are for adults 21 and over.
The Patio will host a new event this year, "Shut Your Pie Hole." This pie-eating contest starts at 7 p.m. The first person who eats an entire cream pie first wins, with three age categories.
All are welcome. The first place adult gets $100 and a picture on the Patio wall.
