The Pine River Library will host a Blackout Poetry workshop at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Billy Goat Saloon, 39848 U.S. Highway 160 in Bayfield.
The event encourages readers to create poems by blacking out words from ordinary texts and using someone else’s words to make a poem. The library will supply the books, newspapers and Sharpies.
