Now, his most recent book, Dark Matter, was selected by the editors at Amazon as one of the Top 20 books in 2016 in the Mystery, Thriller and Suspense category alongside books by John Grisham, Lee Child, Stephen King, Harlen Coben and Carl Hiaasen. Crouch is under contract to write a movie script for the book.
To top it off, his novella series Good Behavior is a new television show on TNT, starring Michelle Dockery of “Downton Abbey” fame. Crouch co-wrote the first episode as well as penning the fourth episode that aired Nov. 29.
How does he feel about the fame and attention? His resolution for 2017 is to cut down on the travel so he can do more writing.
