The Bureau of Land Management has extended the public comment period on the Gunnison Sage-Grouse Rangewide Draft Resource Management Plan Amendment and Draft Environmental Impact Statement to Jan. 9, 2017.
The BLM will host a public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dolores County High School, 525 Main St., Dove Creek.
BLM will provide a short presentation at 6:30 p.m. to discuss plan highlights and how to submit written comments.
