Durango Blue Star Mothers, an all-volunteer organization that benefits military families and veterans, will fill holiday care packages with donated items, to be delivered to deployed Colorado service members, at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Durango VFW, 1550 Main Ave.
Items to include are snacks, gifts, toiletries, books, movies, specific items requested by service members and more. Care packages will be distributed to Colorado military stationed all over the world.
