The boat ramp at Navajo State Park has been closed for construction and maintenance and will remain closed until sometime in the spring.
Other projects are underway to improve the park: The watercraft dry-storage area is being expanded, new inspection and decontamination stations are being built and a new sewage system is being installed.
All the projects are expected to be completed by summer.
Campsites remain open during the winter, and one of three cabins is available to rent. The cabin can accommodate six people.
The park also is a great place to view wildlife; bald eagles, deer and elk can be seen at the lake.
