The scoring streak ended at four consecutive games for the Ignacio High School girls soccer team.
Ignacio (0-9, 0-6 3A Region 5) fell 5-0 at Telluride on Tuesday.
The Miners led 1-0 at halftime, scoring in the final minute of the first half.
“We were low in numbers as far as subs,” IHS head coach Oscar Cosio said. “The subbing situation came into play. We couldn’t keep it together for the full 80 minutes.”
The Bobcats did have their chances to find the back of the net, however.
“We had a couple direct free kicks,” Cosio said.
Ignacio next will play at 4 p.m. Friday at Center, then will host Alamosa at 11 a.m. Saturday.
