Adison Jones passed for three touchdowns to lead the Ignacio High School football team to a 38-26 win over Center on Friday in Center.
Clayton Jefferson caught two of Jones’ touchdown tosses, and Adam Herrera had the third.
“The line did a fantastic job,” IHS head coach Lupe Huerta said. “Adison had all day.”
Herrera also returned a punt for a touchdown.
The Bobcats bounced back from two consecutive losses where they gave up 50 points and won their second road game of the year.
Center (5-2, 1-2 Southern Peaks League) dropped its second game in three weeks after a 4-0 start.
IHS (4-3, 1-2 SPL) will play its final home game of the year at 7 p.m. Friday against Del Norte.
“We’ve got to keep doing the same things we’ve done all week, the little things,” Huerta said.
