The body of Durangoan Lois Wisniewski-Baumgartner, 55, has been positively identified, according to the Farmington Police Department.

Her body was discovered earlier this week in her parked car in a Farmington gas station.

Wisniewski-Baumgartner, who lived in Durango for six years, went missing May 11 after a family argument, according to the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office.

Her body was found in her 1997 Subaru Outback about 11 p.m. Sunday at the Circle S Gas Station at 7101 East Main St. in Farmington.

The cause of death was not known Wednesday, said Georgette Allen, spokeswoman for the Farmington Police Department.

But no foul play is suspected.

Toxicology reports, which might shed light on cause of death, are expected to take 30 to 90 days, she said.
