The Friends of the Durango Public Library will hold a book sale from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The Friends of the Library will provide a bag, and for $10, attendees can fill it with as many books as possible. Additional books are priced at $1 per pound. There are thousands of books across many genres for children and adults.
Proceeds from the sale will help fund the Literary Festival, summer programs and special events. Friends of the Library memberships can be renewed or purchased during the event.
