Readers and online booksellers drove from as far away as Farmington and Taos, N.M., to buy books at the Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale on Friday at Durango Public Library. The sale will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Most books are priced at $1 per pound. A special deal allows patrons to buy a reusable bag for $2 and fill it for $5.
