Nancy Wallace, a lifetime member of the Durango Botanical Society, has recently retired from the board of directors.

Nancy has been a member of the board of directors for the last seven years. She and her husband, Jim, have been outstanding members of the DBS community of gardeners and they have made generous contributions – both in volunteer hours and financial support – to the Durango Botanic Gardens.

Nancy guided maintenance of the gardens for many years. Her knowledge and expertise were instrumental in making the gardens the showplace they are today. We know that Nancy will continue to support the Botanic Gardens while here in the summers, and she will definitely be missed by all of us who know her.
