The Boulevard Neighborhood Association in downtown Durango will elect new board members at its annual meeting this weekend.

Voting will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 1159 East Third Ave.

Only BNA members are eligible to vote, but homeowners, renters, members in the “Friends of the BNA” category and those interested in neighborhood activism are welcome to attend, according to a news release.

Scott Shine, the city’s director of community development, will take questions about matters that impact the association. City arborist Matt Besecker will make a brief presentation about tree care and maintenance, and a Christmas Eve luminaria project will be discussed, the release said.
