“Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters,” a television show on Animal Planet, came to Durango searching for a wanted man.

Cindy Dahlberg, general manager at Hassle Free Sports on Main Avenue, confirmed that bounty hunters on the popular television show were questioning employees at various sporting equipment shops looking for the suspect.

They believed he was nearby and purchasing goods for camping, she said.

Hassle Free Sports did not encounter the wanted man in their store, Dahlberg said.

Employees of Gardenswartz Sporting Goods and Big 5 Sporting Goods said they were not contacted by “Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters.”
