Bowl, have fun and raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 6 during the Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
The fundraiser takes place at Rolling Thunder Lanes in the Sky Ute Casino. Money raised goes to support the organization’s mission and vision, which is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Form a team and register by going to www.bbig.org and clicking on the “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” tab. There are hourly incentive prizes for teams and individuals for most funds raised. Bring the kids to this fun event. There are door prizes, raffles and trivia contests.
This year’s theme is Comicon. Break out your costume and come bowl. You, too, can be a superhero by supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters and the youth of La Plata and Archuleta counties.
