As an independently registered voter, I feel it is important to vote for the person rather than party when casting a ballot. This fall, I am voting to re-elect Brad Blake for county commissioner. I’ve known Brad professionally and personally for over a decade and had the honor to work closely with him during my former term on City Council and as former mayor of Durango. Brad is hard-working, honest and carefully evaluates the issues presented. He has a thorough understanding of the county process and has the desire to work together to achieve balanced results for the people of La Plata County.
