A section of Colorado Highway 184 will be open using a gravel surface during reconstruction of the Narraguinnep Canal Bridge.
Construction on Highway 184 at Narraguinnep Canal Bridge has begun at mile point 1.2, and construction will continue to mile point 1.4. The section of work is about one mile east of U.S. Highway 491. East and westbound traffic can expect up to a 15-minute delay with one-lane alternating traffic during operating hours with both lanes open at night.
Work is expected to be conducted from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drivers are asked to obey all speed limit reductions and construction road signs during this time. Drivers are encouraged to maintain separation between vehicles on the gravel surface to avoid rock damage.
