For the fourth consecutive game, Mary Brinton scored in double figures, and the Fort Lewis College forward scored a game-high 19 points in the Skyhawks’ come-from-behind victory against Eastern New Mexico on Tuesday night in Portales, N.M.
Brinton scored 19 points, as FLC (3-1) beat the Greyhounds (1-3) 59-56 after trailing at the half by three points. FLC outscored the Greyhounds 36-30 in the second half.
Brinton added six rebounds, and Kaile Magazzeni filled the stat sheet with six points, five assists, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
FLC will play Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. Saturday in an exhibition in Flagstaff, Ariz.
