Bulbs for sale Saturday
The Durango Botanical Society’s 8th annual Bulb Sale will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., Oct. 13, in the Exhibit Hall of the Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Mike Smedley, humor columnist and garden aficionado, will entertain with a talk about bulbs starting at 9 a.m. in the Extension Center. The Society will offer thousands of bulbs directly from Holland chosen specifically for Durango’s climate.
When ordering directly from Holland, there are times when shipping schedules do not align with the sale date. Any bulbs not received by the sale date will be available at the Farmer’s Market held each Saturday in the TKB Bank parking lot.
