The city of Durango has announced a temporary hold on picking up large items, such as furniture, brush or tree trimmings, and large appliances, has been put in place.
Running to Sept. 5, the only option for bulk pickup will be for a fee of $90 per 10 cubic yard truckload plus $10 per appliance.
This paid-for service will be limited to Thursdays for the duration.
