Locals attend Realtor convention
Mark Donahue of Realty Executives of Durango was a new inductee to the Colorado Association of Realtors Hall of Fame at the association’s annual convention in Denver.
In addition, Carol Click with Re/Max Mesa Verde Realty of Cortez was named vice president for the Southwest District. Amanda Erickson with Durango Area Association of Realtors of Durango was named the association executive representative.
The CAR board’s main responsibilities include leading and coordinating volunteer efforts of the association aimed at maintaining stability in the industry, protecting private-property rights, supporting efforts for affordable housing, and providing resources and services designed to help Colorado Realtors succeed in their business.
The CAR is the state’s largest real estate trade association, representing more than 19,500 members.

Rivergate Physical Therapy announces the hiring of Janet Wells.
Wells has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy in Durango for 19½ years. Areas of specialty include: men’s and women’s (pelvic floor) health, water therapy, custom foot orthotics, kinesiotaping and management of difficult shoulders. She will begin work at the practice in early November.
