The Small Business Administration has made an Economic Injury Disaster Loan declaration for the state of Colorado because of the Red Mountain Pass rockslide in January.

The declaration makes low-interest loans available to businesses and nonprofit organizations located in the affected counties that suffered because of the rockslide. Businesses in Ouray, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, San Juan and San Miguel counties are eligible to apply. Small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and most private nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for a loan.
