The Payroll Department has promoted Eric Malone to president and Tanya Campbell to director of operations.
Bryan Dear, founder of the long-standing Durango business, will step into an advisory role for the company, focusing on business planning, community involvement and cultural growth.
Malone will take on operations and overall leadership of the company. Malone brings 20 years of leadership and management experience, with the past eight years spent managing day-to-day operations of The Payroll Department.
Campbell will direct the company’s processing team in payroll, quarterly and year-end preparation, ACH banking and related support services. Campbell will also direct the maintenance of nearly 100 clients’ general ledgers. Campbell has been with the firm for 15 years.

First National Bank of Durango has hired four new employees: Charlene Esquibel, Eric Neal, Alexa Tyson and Amy Raulston.
Esquibel is a teller at the main office. She was born and raised in Durango and graduated from Durango High School. She previously worked at Tri-County Headstart for almost 15 years.
Neal is a business banking officer. He was born and raised in Dallas and attended Southern Methodist University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. Neal previously worked for Comerica Bank.
Tyson is a teller at the main office for the summer. She recently graduated from Piedra Vista High School in Farmington and will attend New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico, in the fall.
Raulston is a universal banker at the main office. She was born and raised in Durango and is currently studying business at Fort Lewis College. She most recently worked for City Market.
