OB/GYN practice hires new practitioner
Four Corners OB/GYN announces the addition of Aimee Birgenheier to its practice.
Birgenheier is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner.
Before pursuing her advanced degree, she worked for 11 years as a registered nurse on the labor and delivery ward of Mercy Regional Medical Center.
Birgenheier will be accepting new and established OB/GYN patients.

Thru the Lens, 643A Main Ave., announces new owner Kaiya Dewey Toop.
Toop has strong ties to Durango. She has worked for the Durango Independent Film Festival, KDUR and Ska Brewing Co., and she currently manages The Back Space Theatre.
Thru the Lens offers old-time Western photography, executive portraiture, home portraits, environmental and engagement portraits, wedding photography, custom black-and-white and passport photos, and fine portraits of children, families and high school seniors.

Chamber to host Lunch & Learn
The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch & Learn titled “Business Innovations Strategies” at noon May 22 at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
The information will be presented by Luke Angel, director of rehabilitation with Quantified Performance. Participants will learn why bringing innovation to a business is important; how innovation can create market differentiation; and the seven-step process to implementing new business innovations.
The cost is $10 for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations are required.
