Wink, a service specializing in permanent cosmetics, has recently opened on north Main Avenue in the Breeze Aesthetics building, 3600 North Main Ave., Suite B.

Christy Duke, a longtime native and registered nurse has been trained in micro-pigmentation and has recently opened Wink, her new business, offering clients a variety of options in permanent makeup. Young Professionals host Saturday party

The Young Professionals of Durango will host a Holiday Party from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Powerhouse, 1333 Camino del Rio.

Cocktail party attire is recommended. The cost is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. All proceeds will go to Project Merry Christmas. The party will feature hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, live music by Booty Conda and aerial dancers.

Know Your Dough given financial award

Know Your Dough, a local nonprofit providing financial literacy for youth and young adults, is the recipient of a Community Foundation Award.

The $10,000 donation will go toward general operating expenses and expanded services for Know Your Dough, Inc.
