Chamber to host Business After Hours

The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at La Plata Electric Association, 45 Stewart St., in Bodo Industrial Park.

The cost is $7 for chamber members and guests.

The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual member appreciation party from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 12 in Santa Rita Park, 111 S. Camino del Rio.

There will be a complimentary barbecue, beer and wine.

Professional counselor expands client hours

Judy Austin, a licensed professional counselor, announces the expansion of her client hours beginning Sept. 3 at 2243 Main Ave. in Durango.

In addition to being the director of The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado, Austin specializes in mindfulness and attunement-based therapies for children, adolescents and their families challenged with loss, chronic illness, trauma, anxiety and depression.

Durango Dermatology announces new hire

Durango Dermatology, 523-B S. Camino del Rio, announces the addition of Gillian Agre.

Agre earned an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and has 13 years of experience in the luxury spa industry, most recently as executive spa director at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch on Beaver Creek Mountain. The dermatology office is the only medical aesthetics provider in Durango with board-certified dermatologists.
