Accelerator program accepting applications

The Southwest Colorado Accelerator Program For Entrepreneurs is accepting applications for the first group of startup candidates to be accepted in the program.

The objective is to support the creation and development of high-growth, job-creating companies, with national marketing plans, by offering an accelerator program that provides funding, education and mentoring. Successful completion of the program should provide these ventures the ability to enter markets and raise capital. Companies can apply for the upcoming four-month program at www.goscape.org before Friday.

A select group of candidates will be asked to present ideas in person, and up to four will be selected for the program that will begin July 10. The finalists will receive up to $30,000 to help build their company, along with free office space and discounted business services. They also will receive mentorship to help address the specific challenges they face in establishing and growing their company.
