FASTSIGNS of Durango helped create and promote “Ice Cowboys,” a documentary exploring the sport of Western style equine ski joring, using a variety of signs and visual graphics during and after the film’s production.
Produced by FASTFORWARD Media and directed by Matt Crossett, “Ice Cowboys” features stories of ski joring competitors and coverage of races.
The film garnered enough attention that FASTFORWARD Media is in the process of producing a 30-minute series pilot program to premier on Altitude Sports in the fall of 2016.

Knight is the economic development specialist for the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and joins the board as the Ute Mountain Ute representative. She is a member of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.

Ashley Souza and Cheryl Bowdridge are the newest community organizers for San Juan Basin Health Department in Pagosa Springs.
Souza currently works for Archuleta County Victim Assistance and has experience as a family advocate and child life specialist.
Bowdridge has many years of experience with youth as a team manager for Destination Imagination and currently sits on two accountability committees for Pagosa Springs schools. She is also the outreach and education coordinator for Archuleta County Victims Assistance.
Souza and Bowdridge will be implementing programs and strategies to prevent youth substance abuse in Archuleta County.
Linda Gonzales has joined the health department’s care coordination team as a nurse navigator. Gonzales has a background as a nurse educator and dietician. She will help Medicaid members navigate the health care system.
The 10th annual Girls Gone Golfing event will take place June 3 at Hillcrest Golf Club.
