First National Bank of Durango announces these new hires:
Kat Turner will be a personal banker, safe-deposit representative and work the front desk. She is originally from Southern California and attended Excelsion High School and Cerritos Community College, both in Southern California. She has worked at City Market, Albertsons and had her own business for several years. Turner has been in Durango for 28 years.
Jamie Gonzales will be a client-service representative and teller. She is from Durango and from Durango High School. She previously worked at Durango T-Shirt Co. before coming to the bank.
Molly Malarsie will be an account-service representative. She was born and raised in Durango. She graduated from Durango High School and attended Fort Lewis College for three years. Malarsie was with English Land Co. working with property and land management.

N.M. medical providers earns accreditation
San Juan Regional Medical Center and San Juan Regional Outpatient Diagnostic Center have been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in ultrasound as the result of a review by the American College of Radiology.
Ultrasound imaging, also known as sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal body parts to help providers diagnose illness, injury or other medical problems.
The accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality-control procedures and quality-assurance programs are assessed.

Keller Williams Realty Southwest Associates LLC welcomes new broker-associate, Sue Plvan.
Plvan joins Keller Williams Realty after a 28-year career in insurance claims, having worked for Nationwide Insurance, Allied Insurance, CNA and Wausau Insurance. She is a native of Rochester, N.Y., and a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Sheri Figgs returns to Sorrel Sky Gallery
Sheri (Rochford) Figgs has returned to Sorrel Sky Gallery, 828 Main Ave.
The former head of admissions at Fort Lewis College, gallery director at Sorrel Sky and executive director at Durango Arts Center, brings a diversity of experience and education with her. After graduating from Fort Lewis College, Figgs spent more than 30 years at the institution as executive director of the FLC Foundation, dean of admissions and director of the FLC Alumni Association. After her retirement, Figgs worked at Sorrel Sky Gallery as gallery director for 2½ years before going on to revive DAC.
