Two business signed on to the American Association of University Women’s effort to give a 20 percent discount for women at their door for Equal Pay Day on Tuesday, a symbolic day that recognizes full-time, year-round equal wages for men and women.
The businesses that signed up include Bloom Cafe, 309 W. College Dr., and Cream Bean Berry, 1021 Main Ave.
Businesses can specify details of the discount as they choose. AAUW can provide an educational poster to promote Equal Pay Day.
