Buy a flower to help Merely Players

Merely Players has launched an “Unlock the Garden” campaign to assist them in their continued ability to keep quality theater in Durango. The financial assistance will help with set, costumes, props, makeup, publicity, lights and sound, venue rental, salaries, mailings, insurance and other production expenses for their upcoming youth/adult production of the beloved musical “The Secret Garden.”

The company is selling 100 simulated flowers that will become a part of an art display to be featured on performance nights throughout their run of the show.

Each flower sells for a different price: There is one available for each dollar increment from $15 to $114. Donors receive their name, name of a loved one, company name or just a special word or two written on one of the 100 flowers in the wall art, as well as a seed packet and a ticket to “The Secret Garden.”

To buy a flower, go to Merely Players’ webpage at www.merelyplayers.us and click on the “Unlock the Garden” link. Merely Players is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible.
