5-7 p.m. Monday Jan. 27, Upper Pine River Fire Protection new and past board member recognition event, Upper Pine River Fire Protection Administration Building, 515 Sower Drive. Casey Cook is resigning and moving to South Dakota and Lisa Bourque is to be appointed as the first female board member.
2 p.m. Sunday, Stitchers of all kinds group, Eepa’s Pizzeria, 1248 Bayfield Parkway. Knitters, crocheters, cross-stitchers, embroiderers welcome.
10:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 29, Open art studio and instruction with local artists Susan Brightman, Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive. $12, discount punch cards available.
4-7 p.m. Thursday Jan. 30, Sing Our Rivers Red reception, SunUte Community Center Capote Room. Honor missing and murdered Indigenous women and pray for those who are missing, murdered, assaulted, trafficked, etc. In collaboration with Voices of Our Sisters in Ignacio. Free. Open to the public. Light refreshments and drinks.
11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Thursday Jan. 30, Great Decisions: Climate change and the global order, Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive. Free and open to the public.
9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday Jan. 31, Krispy Kreme donut sale to benefit Friends of the Pine River Library, Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.
