The public is invited to drop by its new location at 65 Mercado. The center is between American Home Patient and Digs Restaurant. The Cancer Resource Center now has more space to serve all cancer patients. The center has wigs, hats, scarves, mastectomy bras and breast prostheses, and it can arrange rides and lodging for patients in need. All products and services are free.
The Cancer Resource Center assists the Health Coalition of Southwest Colorado by distributing funding from this local nonprofit.
Visit the Cancer Resource Center between 10 a.m. and noon Friday. There will be finger foods and beverages and a drawing for some skin-care products.
