Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado will host a free online workshop called “Coping with the Cost of Cancer” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
The workshop will cover the management of the various costs of cancer, including health insurance and co-pays, medication and treatment costs, lost wages, and basic living expenses.
Guest speakers will be: Laura Addington, certified financial adviser with the Addington Financial Group; Dan Rieber, CPWIC and benefits coordinator at Southwest Center for Independence; and Erica Schatz, licensed insurance broker with Schatz Insurance.
