In recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day, CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital and Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado will host the Southwest Colorado Cancer Survivor Celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 1 at Three Springs Pavilion, 151 Heritage Lane.
The event will be a casual, picnic-style gathering with lunch, music, activities, special speakers and opportunities to connect with fellow survivors. This celebration is a testament to the power of perseverance and the support of a compassionate community. Cancer survivors, along with their families, friends and supporters, are invited to come together for reflection, inspiration and camaraderie.
Everyone who has experienced cancer – whether currently in treatment or post-treatment – is considered a cancer survivor, and the event also honors family members, friends, caregivers and health care providers. All are welcome to attend.
