Durango Herald Facebook reader Rob Bates submitted this week’s winning Caption This! headline: “We used to trek through 8 feet of snow uphill both ways to get to school.”
The second-place caption was, “Hi-ho, hi-ho, it’s off to school we go” from reader Penne Jeff Fugate.
This week’s photo was sent by Jerilyn Davis, who took a picture of Needham Elementary School fourth-graders on a winter hike at Haviland Lake.
