Carve Wars chainsaw art competition will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Purgatory Resort’s base area.

The traveling chainsaw art competition will feature chainsaw artists from around the country. Throughout the weekend, artists compete for prizes and awards while carving their pieces. There will also be meet-and-greet opportunities with artists and live demonstrations.

During two live auctions, carvings are sold to the highest bidder, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity.

This is a free, family-friendly event.
