Cat Care Durango has announced that in its third year of operation, it is opening a newly renovated rescue and boarding facility.
The updated space was designed to create a safer, more comfortable and enriching environment for the cats in its care and for the community that supports them.
The remodeled facility features specialized rooms tailored to different stages of life, including a peaceful senior and sanctuary room, an active enrichment room for young adult cats and a spacious kitten room for play, exploration and socialization. Two new boarding rooms with large kennel-style condos have also been added to help visiting cats feel calm and secure during their stay. Enrichment tools throughout the space promote physical activity and mental stimulation.
The public is invited to attend Cat Care Durango’s grand reopening party noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 14 at 72 Suttle Street, Unit A. Guests can tour the facility, enjoy light refreshments, meet the team and spend time with sanctuary and rescue cats.
