The La Plata/Archuleta County Cattlemen’s Association is proud to award annual scholarships to local students with an agriculture background. Five students were selected to receive a $1,500 scholarship for the 2020-21 school year. The scholarships will be awarded to Felicity DeWeese, Katrina Chandler, Taylor Lewis, Cabree Mullins and Clay Sanburg.
The La Plata County Cowbelles have also announced they have awarded three scholarships for the 2020-21 school year. The scholarships will be awarded to Emma Candelaria, Kaleb Lee and Emzy Barker.
The family of Phyllis Lee Family has announced that Michael Semler is the recipient of the Phyllis Lee Scholarship.
