The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will host a public open house to present information about the planned improvements to the US 550 - US 160 Connection South Design-Build Project.
The open house is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.
The purpose of this event is to educate the public and allow for an opportunity to discuss key project components. Topics include project partnerships and funding, environmental considerations, archaeological work, right-of-way, and the design variations.
CDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions and explain aspects of the project, anticipated for construction in 2020.
