The project is scheduled for completion by Memorial Day 2019. There will likely be periods of suspension for winter conditions between November 2018 and March 2019.

The $3.6 million project includes signal replacement, road improvements and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance measures.

Improvements include upgrading sidewalks to meet ADA requirements at all four corners of each intersection and updating features to improve drainage and accommodate pedestrian and bicyclist needs. For project updates and specifics of improvements to each intersection, visit www.codot.gov.

The project will move through phases, and drivers are likely to see lane shifts and some single-lane closures at the intersection under construction, typically from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Two lanes on Main Avenue will remain open in each direction during peak travel times: 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for southbound traffic and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for northbound traffic. One lane in each direction will remain open on Main Avenue at all other times.
