A celebration to kick off construction of a new domestic water system for homeowners of southwestern La Plata County will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Breen Community Building, 15300 Colorado Highway 140.
There will be a barbecue meal and time to meet the contractors and pick up information packets needed to hook up to the new water line.
