The Durango Women’s Resource Center is accepting nominations for the Extraordinary Woman Award as part of Women’s History Month in March.
The 2019 National Women’s History month theme is “Visionary women: Champions of Peace & Nonviolence.”
The center is accepting nominations of La Plata County women for their contributions in their homes, schools and community.
The nomination are due 4 p.m. Jan. 31. To nominate a woman, visit bit.ly/2Flf0FW. The winner(s) will be presented at a special dinner on March 6 at the DoubleTree Hotel.
