To kick-off the Center of Southwest Studies summer lecture series, Durango resident Jack Turner will give a presentation, “1936: Adventure in Crooked Canyons,” at 1:30 p.m. June 14 in the Lyceum, Room 120, of the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Turner will present about a radio address that his grandfather and “Landscapes On Glass” author, Ansel Hall, gave on the Rainbow Bridge Monument Valley expedition.
