Emergency medical services, fire fighters and law enforcement play a vital role in responding to requests for assistance, triaging patients and providing emergency medical treatment and transport for ill persons. Centura Health is now offering COVID-19 testing for symptomatic first responders in Durango.
Testing will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 810 East Third St., basement level.
To begin accepting community partners, responder agencies interested in offering this to their teams should email CenturaLovesFirstResponders@centura.org to receive needed forms to begin these visits. These first responders will need to bring a special form with them when coming for their test.
